I have obtained a PhD in Cognitive science and language from Universitat de Barcelona; with an interest in the neurobiological foundations of the human language and cognition, one of my areas of interest is the role of the hippocampus and declarative memory in on-line language processing. Likewise, I’m interested in evolutionary biology and language evolution. Cognitive disorders open a window to understand cognition in the brain, I’m inclined to investigate autism-related genes and their implications for social cognition and communication.
